FAQ
A: Dressy, cocktail attire is requested (but not mandatory). You get bonus points for dressing in theme for Disco & Diamonds (think bling, jumpsuits and bell bottoms)!
A: 5:00pm arrival, Cocktails and Mingling, Silent Auction, Dinner, Live Auction Program, Photo Booth and Dancing!
A: YES! Arrive at 5pm sharp for an exclusive experience including a complimentary welcome drink, passed appetizers, and a chance at the Winner’s Kit! At 5:30pm the sign up parties open and are sure to sell out fast! Don’t miss your chance to attend our super fun Annual Progressive Party, Rintalan Crawfish Boil, Poker Night, and more!
A: YES! Your ticket to attend includes passed appetizers, a buffet dinner and dessert prepared by Gunther's Catering (Owner, Steve Meyberg, is a long time supporter of Schallenberger who went to Schallenberger himself as well as his own children).
A: YES! Our very own nationally recognized local Willow Glen resident, Dee Dee Kiesow, will be our auctioneer for the evening. She is incredible and so fun, so be prepared to come and bid on some amazing live auction items.
A: YES! There will be an exclusive in-person silent auction at the Gala. Many of our auction items will only be featured in-person. There will also be a smaller online silent auction that will end after the gala so that if you didn't get what you wanted at the gala, then you still can support Schallenberger by finding something to bid on in the online silent auction 🙂
A: When you register to buy tickets to the gala, you can also buy pre-event drink tickets for $9 each or for $10 each at the event. Beer, wine, champagne and standard well drinks cost one drink ticket each and specialty cocktails cost two drink tickets each. Soda is complimentary.
A: Table reservations ensure that you sit with your friends, but they are limited - so start talking to your friends now!!! One person must buy the whole table that seats 10 people and fill all 10 seats at the table with friends. Any seats that remain open after ticket sales close at midnight on March 1st will be filled by the gala committee.
A: We cannot guarantee that you will be with your friends, but we’ll do our best to seat you at a table with other parents from your preferred grade level.
A: No. The software we’re using, called SchoolAuction.net, allows you to register without a ticket so that you can buy drink tickets.
A: Yes, through SchoolAuction.net you can donate money or items for the auction and bid in the online silent auction items.
A: There is a parking lot next to the venue, but parking is limited. We highly encourage you to select a designated driver and carpool or use Uber or Lyft. Please drink and drive responsibly.
A: NO. You will be able to register online and vault your credit card for the event when ticket sales begin on January 14th.
A: No, this is an adult only event.
A: No. We encourage you to book your babysitters, neighbors, grandparents or in-laws now!
